I would be very interested in getting the details. My son has symptoms of autism spectrum disorder. He will go for a diagnosis on 4/5. I believe he has a mild case of autism and aspbergers. However if he is off all his medicine and diet he will regress to no eye contact and recluse into himself. He will also have major tantrums and biting, as well as antisocial behavior. He has a big problem with transitions as well. I have been unsure on whether I should take him off his nystatin and culturelle a few days before the appointment, because his behavior is incredibily better since he has been on the gf/cf/wheat free, egg free, soy free, dye free, no artificial flavors or preservatives. I feel really bad to have to have him regress and go through the hell that it causes him. He is absolutely miserable and scared, yelling screaming, having a real hard time with little changes like taking off a shirt or sitting down to eat a meal. He becomes so sick, you can see that he is full of toxins when he goes through this, along with the yeast rashes he gets as well. He sweats perfusely( phenyl intolerance, right). His white part of the eye(sclara) turns yellowish ( jaundice) He has a chronic elevated liver enzyme and platelet count. So I am torn between keeping him some what comfortable, or revealing who he is when he is off his medicine and diet, so that I can get the proper behavioral training, and potential have the MD's working toward healing his intestine (leaky-gut) which I believe is the main thing causing all of his problems. I wish I could fly to Maine for the conference but I don't believe that I will have the funds to do so. However, if you could provide the info and let me know if they are going to tape the conference. I would be interested in buying the tape. Also is aspbergers also from the intestinal damage? Do the traditional MD's consider it a chemical inbalance in the brain? Have you heard of any promising treatments? Sorry for all the questions , I know you were just trying to announce the conference, but if you have any info please share with me. We are desperate for a final cure. My son has improved incredibily but he is not healed. Thank you for the info.
