GFCF is not any more expensive than eating with the two, if you make most of it. The added expense comes if you buy the pre-made items from the specialty stores. I found that trying to "imitate" what they are craving is a dismal failure- both homemade and bought
versions. Eggs and sausage and some fruit for breakfast with water to drink. Rice Krispies with rice milk and a bit of honey. Hamburger patty with fries and fruit with clear gatorade to drink for lunch. Chicken and veggies/sweet potato, fruit and flavored non-calorie Sam's choice water for dinner. Water is great - the more the better.
Silk Soy yogurt/fruit/rice cakes with jam or peanut butter for snacks....etc.etc. focus on what can be eaten, not what cannot-it is much easier. Expect the first 72 hours or so to be pure misery, due to withdrawal.
