Has anyone used this with young children diagnosed with autism? I have read that it can help.

Hi,

My daughter does go for Cranial-sacrio therapy once a week.

To be honest, I am not sure if it works. She has definitely improved but because she undergoes quite a number of different therapies, I am uncertain if this has worked for her.

Sincere thanks for your reply. I really don't know much about what cranio-massage therapy is, but I am a newly qualified massage therapist who can also do cham****age. I believe cranio-massage therapy works differently. My nephew's little boy is under 4 years old, so I am not certain of what the therapist would do. How long has your child being having this particular kind of therapy, and how did you first find out about it... was it recommended?
Any advice you can give will be a great help.

Hi Little,
I have no personal experience with this type of therapy but I found there were numerous books on amazon about it. The books seem to be directed to people trained in massage therapy.

Thanks Keggy and Phow for your interest and for your quick replies. I am a qualified therapist, but have no experience of this. I do however practice Reiki and from what I have seen, it seems to reflect some of the things I do with Reiki... but then there are other huge differences. I have been wondering if I could perform normal light head massage or cham****age and help in any way?
