It seems that every week there's a new article describing an incident involving autistic individuals and emergency responders. Many of the stories describe unfortunate encounters where autistic people are hurt by the very people who are meant to protect them.

Bill Davis, an autism advocate in Pennsylvania, has developed a comprehensive video that trains emergency responders (and others) how to identify and calmly resolve issues involving autistic individuals.
