Magnetic beds - Autism Spectrum Message Board

Has anyone ever tried a magnetic bed for their children? My doctor has suggested it to me. His partner had one and they are letting me borrow it.It has only been one night. If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions, I would greatly appriciate them.

I used one on my son for about 6 months, but it did nothing for him. I have heard mixed things about the magnets and according to my son's natrapathic, she said they help kids with autism about 50% of the time. So, with those odds, I would definently borrow the magnet bed pad to give it a try.

I just wanted to let you guys know how it has been going with the magnetic mattress pad. Rayn came downstairs this morning and said to me, as clear as day, "Emmy upstairs". I could not beleive it. I cannot say it is from the mattress but I don't care. I'll let you know if it keeps helping or not.
