Chris who is almost 5 said talked to me yesturday !! He said no mom and dad as a response to telling him to go to bed He has been "jabbering" more and more recently but that is the first time I ever heard him say anything that I could "understand" expect for "mama" . I have been waiting so long to hear him talk and it looks like it may be finally starting!!!
That is fantastic. What a fabulous step forward, there will be no stopping him now. He will be talking up a storm before you know it. I am so happy for you.
I truly hope so. He said "bye" to me when he got on the school bus this am. I am thrilled!! I realized long ago that he may never say anything verbaly (he does use sign language) but never knew deep down how much I still wanted him to talk until he said something.
