Good news ladies....I just asked my son's OT today about that. She said that children in the spectrum will show progress and then plat owe, regress, progress, plat owe, regress. Like taking two steps forward standing there for a bit, taking a step back, then two steps, standing there, one back. Do you understand what I mean? It just takes our kids longer to get up the steps.
Our problem has a lot to do with sensory issues. We stopped brushing for a few weeks and my son is having more tantrums, not sleeping as good, mumbling more than talking. So we have to start brushing again. Live and learn. They should have a book out Sensory Intergration Dysfunction for Dummies. I believe more and more that this is the key to success. Get those senses going...
