written report - Autism Spectrum Message Board

I had an evaluation for autism done a while back at a university medical center. Still haven't received the written report yet. They said I would get it in 3 weeks but it's going on 5 weeks now and nothing from them. anyone else have this problem?

Yes. It is getting frustrating because until that report is done, he can not begin his Nursery School program. Hang in there, I think they must be so backed up. Call often though. I know if someone kept bugging me for something, I'd put them on the top of my list to get out of my hair. Good Luck!

Part of me is frustrated because they haven't been on time with anything. But I know the center serves mostly children and I think they should be helped first.

The report for my DD took about 6 weeks to get. I was getting antsy, there were so many things on hold waiting for the report. Give it another week, then call them to see when to expect a copy.
