| Re: Question
Speech class should help, they taught Kyle that people want to hear his "Kyle voice" when in conversation, but it's fun to use his "play voice" when reading a quote, or playing with his stuffed animals. It took a while, mainly because he wasn't aware that he was doing it most of the time. But they just reminded him when he would get squeaky that they really wanted to hear his "Kyle voice" . HE adapted this voice to one of his stuffed animals, charlie. So when he would get squeaky, we used to say, "that sounds like Charlie, not my Kyle!" he would giggle, then correct himself.
