| Ausomemom2,Helping cope w/baby
I was thinking back to when I had my baby and the things I did to help the other children cope. Here are just a few things I could think of...
-I bought a gift and when the baby came I gave it to Kemp and Hailey and said it was from the baby.
-When I nursed I would read a book of there chose, build blocks with them, play cars.
-With the older one since she wanted to help feed I would let her hold the babies head or back and then I would let her put the burp cloth on my shoulder.
-I would let them (Hailey) place the "tape" of the diaper.
-I would let them (H) pick the clothes out.
I hope this helps. Hailey would do most of these things cause Kemp had no interest in helping. But I know you said Blake is 4 now so he might want to help. If I think of anyhting else I'll let you know.
