Hi- I just found this board earlier today, and was impressed with the information I found on it. It feels really good to know that the issues I deal with are shared by many. My son is 10 yrs. old, he was a preemie born at 27 wks. He not only has autism, but is mentally retarded and blind. I have never reached out to any support system, because I always thought I didn't need it; but I wish I would have come on here sooner. I didn't realize how much weight would be lifted off of me just by reading the posts by all of you sharing the same problems and trying to help each other. Thank you all for helping all of the rest of us, and I hope that I can help someone on here soon.
