My dd is 4 years old with autism/apraxia. She can talk but she just can't get all the sounds together all the time though we do understand her a lot of the times. In the summer i put a break on potty training her cause she was peeing all over the house and not caring one bit and getting aggressive when i took her to the potty.

I am trying now since she turned 4 her cognitive ability is very good and she holds her pee at times even overnight at times and when i put pull-up on her she then goes in it right after getting off the potty. She has had few successes when she actually sat for me i would praise her like crazy but it was like nothing happened to her. She seems very scared and puts her legs straight out to pee sitting on potty when she actually does go, she sometimes even looks like she is gonna puke when she is ready to go and wants off the potty. Now she fights me like crazy once i say "potty" and try to take her, she says "no" shakes her head then fights me to no end. She makes it impossible about sitting her there so i put her underwear under her pull-up and she peed in it not caring. I am not sure when i will ever get her trained. In school the aide puts her pull-up on until she gets better at it at home which that get's me mad, the tss with my daughter told the aide that my daughter had to go cause she was grabbing herself and the aide failed to take her there saying my daughter does that on the potty, My daughter soon after grabbing herself in school had a big accident. The aide calls me and asks me to bring her some shoes cause she peed all in them and she would like to try having a pull-up on her at school but taking her more frequently, whether she is doing that or not i have no idea, until she gets better at home then she will put underwear on her at school is this right or no? I feel i have very little support and she will sit well for aide in school but not me at home. Rewards don't work she doesnt care what rewards she get's or doesnt get she doesnt like candy etc either to get her to go. She's very content with having nothing even if she doesnt go. Anyone in a similar situation and what do i do with aggression to get her to at least sit? If i can't get her to sit do i just let her have accidents and then see what she does then? I have to pick her up to take her to potty and she fights me when going there if i take her by hand she drops to the ground making it impossible to pick her up. I heard maybe there are certain people who can come to your home to help with potty training? I think in certain states?
