I think it's rubbish. I really think they can have a sense of humour - maybe different from ours at times, but then...I don't always laugh at the same things that others find funny either.

Hi Dannys MUM... ! I am a student support facilitator in class for kids with moderate to severe developmental delays. Most of my duties include being a "one on one" aid with an autistic child that is included in a kindergarten class room and let me tell you that you are quite right about this...The cast that I am on this year, the child is very funny and often teases us in the class room. He also laughs quite a bit when we say something that makes him laugh. He is a real kick.
Enjoy him... they grow so quickly...
