| Re: Autism and the MMR vaccine
MY gs is mild SID from what---well, I have my suspicions and it is not all vaccine related.
Red measles is a Horrible disease and can cause death, brain damage and blindness. If there is any way to do the vaccines separately do that. Eventually our children MUST be vaccinated. An adult with Red measles would probably die. Illegal aliens are bringing in all manner of disease to this country, just so you know. and all of our attempts to eradicate these childhood diseases is now going for naught. If too many children go unvaccinated and these diseases get a foothold, well look out.
And I am not exaggerating. Young mothers who were vaccinated in the 70s and 80s simply have no concept of how horrible whooping cough, polio, TB and the measles and mumps were in the 40s and 50s.
I can remember the red measles and the mumps back in the 50s.
Bad...my mom had to cover all the windows to protect our eyes --I remember how much our eyes hurt.
As for your son and his ears---my gs is going to a neuro-sensory doc (An ENT) and he said my gs's nerves in his ears were horribly inflamed. He did a hearing test and my gs is hearing sounds no human should hear. This inability to filter out unnecessary noise causes him difficulty in the classroom.
So you should have your son's hearing checked with one of these more sensitive tests. My gs is now on anti-inflammatories and antivirals for a couple of months. they will be checking his metal levels to see if they should do chelation therapy.
This is a complicated condition and a strange time for our children. they are not only inundated with new info but it is coming in the form of computers and games and tv programs and too much to do at school. Poor things. If they don't have their wits about them, they fall thru the cracks.
