Hi, myname is Debbie and my daughter Bella was 2 on July 27. We recieved the dx of severe autism on June 6, 2008 by a awesome doctor at the Children's Institute in Pittsburgh Pa. His name is Dr. Scott Faber and although he is not a DAN doctor he uses the supplements, the GFCG diet and run extensive blood work to make shure what diet and supplements to put the child on. Bella showed she had a severe casin allergy and was put on zinc, calicum, magnisium, fish oil and a few others. About 2 weeks after starting the suppliments Bella starting repeating some words and allowing others to touch her. He and his team at the Institute are awesome. He has a waiting list, but be persistant and keep calling. Good luck to all of you.
