Aggression & Autism in Teens

I have a friend with a 13 year old autistic son & he becomes violent at times. Do you have any recommendations that can help control this behavior? Medication? Please let me know ASAP. I babysit him sometimes.

Thank you very much

Re: Aggression & Autism in Teens

the teenage years can bring out aggression in children with autism and i strongly suggest that your friend see a child psychiatrist or child neurologist who have a speciality in autism spectrum disorders as he will probably benefit from and need medication.
