My 16 year old son is autistic and non-verbal. He usually understands most everything he hears and obeys pretty well. We are having just one problem lately. He refuses to let us trim his toenails. I've tried to get him to do it himself, and he can't seen to understand how to work the clippers. He's starting to get ingrown toenails due to this. I know this doesn't seem like much of a problem compared to what other people on this board are going through, but I'd appreciate it if someone could let me know if they've had this problem and how they handled it. Thanks.
