Hi, I've had it around 10 years, when I was 1st diagnosed with it, I had my sweat gland in my armpit removed. I had 5 boils under there at one time. I just pretty much dealt with it since then, but the last 2 years have been really bad, I have 2 more in my other armpit, 1 on my stomach, thighs, groin ect. I never get a break, when some finally go away, within 1 day, I have more pop up. I finally made an appointment for the 11th. 1st doctor I have seen about this in 10 yrs. I'm curious what he will suggest. He is suposed to know know about this disease, most doctors do not. I do notice stress causes more outbreaks on me, I haven't really noticed what else does, but I'm sure other things cause it as well. I'm like you, fed up with this, not only is it embarassing but very painful. I can't even wear shorts sometimes. Everytime my husband touches me, it hurts. sometimes its hard to walk. I'm guessing i'm stage 3, but not sure. could be 2. I'll find out as much as I can when I see him and let you know what he says. Have you seen a doctor? do you know what stage you are? Sorry you are going thru this, but it is nice to be able to talk to someone who knows what your going thru.
