Seeking specialist in MD, VA, DC or DE

I have been diagnosed with Addison's Disease as well as Hashimotos, Vitiligio, Auto-Immune Hypothyroid, low Vit. D....I'm trying to find a specialist that actually has experience with this disease. I feel like I'm a guinea pig right now and need some answers. A year of treatment and I feel worse not better and frankly I'm tired of living like this. Everytime they say this should help, it aggravates something else. I need someone that actually knows what to do with this disease and has experience with it, successfully. Any suggestions?

I am not a specialist, or a doctor, but I do suffer from a lot of what you are going through! I suspect that there is something more going on with my health than what the doctors do! I have diabetes, hypothyroidisim, and low vitamin D. The hypothyroidisim and low vitamin D are new, within the last 6 months or so. I also suffer from a few other autoimmune disorders, diabetes, psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. It all makes me wonder if there is some kind of underlying reason for all these autoimmune diseases! So, I feel your pain. Doctors almost seem unwilling to find the underlying cause of autoimmune problems, as if it's too much work! I have looked up Addison's Disease and Hashimotos after reading your post, and I think it's worth looking in to! For what it's worth, thanks for giving me something to look in to! Hope all goes well, I know it's a pain to find a doctor who seems to want answers as much as you do!
