Autoimmune....? Please help me :((

Symptoms....

-Random low grade fevers
-Peeling of the skin in my mouth
- Body aches/joint pain to the point of not being able to do daily tasks
- Entire Abdomin tender to the touch
- 4 urinary tract infections in 10 months
-8 sinus/resperatory infections in 10 months
- Cold sore (which i got into a cut on my neck, getting herpes into my bloodstream and made me extreamly sick)
-dizzyness/fogginess
- Extreame fatiuge
-Renauds phenominon (purple fingernails/toenails)
- A few Small Egsma like patches on my arms and legs
- Lower back spasms
- Rib pain, so severe that i was in the hospital for a week this summer. It comes and goes. No explanation why.

Negative ANA.

I was diagnosed with endometriosis last december, fibromyalgia last month. I was put on lupron depo shot in feburary. Thats when most of my symptoms started. Im now off the shot, but i seem to be getting worse. Could i have had an autoimmune reaction to the shot? I know its a long shot but they cant find anything wrong, and theyve done a **** load of tests. Im so sick of hearing its in my head or faking it. Im not. This is very real.

not in the way you are thinking. But Fibro doesn't cause rashes, nor the rib pain thing, to my knowledge. Did they give a name to that, such as costochondritis? And have you had a dermatologist look at your rash? Raynaud's is also not a secondary feature of Fibro, to my knowledge, either. It is either primary or secondary to some autoimmune diseases, and certainly can be treated if severe. ANA is not always positive in AI diseases but can wax and wane. There are also other antibodies that may or may not be present as well. You are certainly entitled to get a second opinion, if you feel that the fibro diagnosis is not giving you the treatment needed to relieve your symptoms.

Re: Autoimmune....? Please help me :((

Have you seen an immunologist? If possible, a "pure" immunologist, as opposed to an allergist/immunologist? They have tests up their sleeves that some of the other specialists don't, especially for a patient with such a variety of symptoms. It is probably tough for the doctors to know which symptoms to chase in the work up. I had ten months of mystery symtoms and extensive testing. I then saw an immunologist who did a bunch of fancy lab tests and diagnosed me, just like that. Also, when I first saw him and reported that I had had lots of labs, all normal though, he told me "All your tests aren't normal. They just haven't found the right test yet." I appreciated his attitude - taking me at my word about how sick I felt. You are the only one who can experience how you are feeling. Good luck to you, I hope you find the answer soon.

I am sorry for your problem i wish I could help you more dear.
While Renaud's can be absolutely innocent and not related to any auto immune disorders, your cold sores/herpes show that something makes your immune system low. I get them since I am on biologics and chemo therapy for Lupus and RA, this type of treatment brings your immune system low and people get outburst of herpes as well.

You may fight some type of bug; were you checked for Lyme disease? Sometimes Lyme is not showing in blood work, a good specialist still can recognize the issue and treat his patient even if blood work is negative. Like everyone else here said, you need a good DR and see as many opinions as you need to finally get your questions answer.
dont put all your trust in hands of only one Dr if you know something is wrong.

Best of luck you,
Moldova
