Hi and welcome. I'm no doctor (huge understatement) but I believe thryoid meds can take awhile to calibrate, that it can take time to achieve good results. My sister (Hashimoto's) and several close friends have gone thru this.

But I'd discuss excessive thirst with my doctor PDQ, to see if other tests are needed, if not done or not done recently. (Blood glucose, for one?)

Have you tried the Thyroid Disorders board? In the blue bar above this board's title, select "Find A Board"; on the screen appearing next, select the hyperlink that sort results into alphabetical order. NOT that you're not welcome on this board---of course you are---but that the people there should have more specific personal experience to share, is all I mean to say.
