pain and burning in my back

I was changing my daughter's diaper tonight and all of a sudden I got an extremely sharp pain in my back. I had to get my hubby to come over and help me stand up again. Now it still hurts, though not as much, but it burns too. Should I go to the doc? Should I see a chiropractor? I've had back probs all my life (big boobs) but only recently since my pregnancy and mommyhood has it gotten worse.

I think going to see an ortho would be wise and cautious. If you are in the beginning stages of any back disease, you would be able to catch it early. If not, (hopefully) you will at least know and not worry about it. Good luck to you.

Has this been an ongoing thing, or was that the first time? I have a burning in my back, but it's been chronic for the past few months... upper back for me... trying to decide what to do without chancing losing out on work options....
