Do you think it's a good idea since I have nothing wrong with my discs? I was so upset yesterday that I forgot to ask the dr. I want to start swimming, but there are no pools around here that offer open swim. You have to have a gym membership and I just can't afford one right now. There is a new place that offers yoga and it's fairly inexpensive. I know that you aren't supposed to do yoga if you have a disc problem, just wasn't sure if it's alright since my back is sprained or whatever. What do you think? I'm so sick of my muscles being so tight back there. I think that's what causes most of my problems. Thanks for your opinions.
I would say go for it! Yoga has helped my back a lot. If you feel any worse after you do it then stop, but otherwise I think it's a good idea. I know I usually feel better after I go a yoga tape and they have some that are just for back pain too.
