Blue,
I had a micro-d on June 26th and I am in the 10% "not so good result" pool with you. I am better off since I had the surgery since I was not able to stand more than 10 minutes a day and only walked to get to DR visits before surgery.
Anyway I had an MRI in Sept (because my pain levels were getting worse). The MRI came back as normal. I had one of the best neuroradiologists look at my films and she says that they look good (like a person on the road to recovery), but that my nerves were still really ****** off. She said to give it 6-8 months before I would start feeling better.
Now it is 2 months later and I am still in pain, but bextra allows me to work and live a semi-normal life.
I guess what I am telling you is not to give up hope. It can take even up to 18-24 months for the healing process to complete. I know it is really tough to be patient...I too hate to hear "give it more time". I want relief now!
I am glad that you are getting an MRI to see what is going on.
Is your pain getting worse or not improving like you would expect?
HTH,
Mark
