Hi all,
Hopefully someone can enlighten me on this procedure that I heard about from a gentleman who recently had it done. He had bulging discs (3) in his cervical area, and had surgery 5 weeks ago. According to him, they only trimmed away the bulging sections, to get them off the nerves. He's done wonderful ... no collar, and is already back to work (light duty of course).

My questions are numerous, so any knowledge or prior experience with this is greatly appreciated. I have an appt with an OS Monday, so I want to be as informed as possible of any, and all, options.

2 bulging and 1 herniated disc 09/03. Bulging at C5/C6 and C6/C7 levels. Herniation with foraminal narrowing and obvious nerve root compression at T1/T2.
