Talking Sex & Back/Spinal Pain!/Share your worries/BelleNZ

Hi! to All of those who said we needed this outlet so badly for all of us with relationship/sex problems due to pain from surgery, accidents etc.

I have been posting frantically to get everyones attention to let them see there is an old Archive post from long ago, which I did use to contribute to, and, as I am now in BAD pain again, & sex is almost non existant, ( explain later) I felt it timely to open and share with all those who need this outlet urgently!

I will be happy to try & help in any way possible , just give a "listening ear".. but if YOU want to contribute your story or worries , I am sure others on here will also be happy to help you if they can!..

Just remember!! YOU ARE NOT ALONE !!

There are many more of us out there in the same situation, dread I say it.. and no one understands except those who are going /been through it.
I'm sure many will agree !!??

Well, here goes everyone , ...let's hope this is a good beginning ?
Only yous' can make the posts as good as they turn out?
CHEERS!!
Love Belle NZ xxx

Re: Sex & Back/Spinal Pain!/Share your worries/BelleNZ

Hi Belle!
wow it has been a while. How is it going? I guess by this thread I should know huh?
I remember the old thread, as I said before I am NOT willing to give up sex for pain, so I continue on

I know there are different positions that are less stressful then others. spooning is one, and the pain patient on top, so they can contoll the speed of things...

I also lost it do to meds. but I try to get in the mood, but I have to say it is impossible without some lube, help. I have used different products and found the "wet" to be the best.

hope this helps
god bless
bee

Talking Re: Sex & Back/Spinal Pain!/Share your worries/BelleNZ

Hi There Bee!!
It's fantastic to hear from you !!

(The " spooning position" will be discussed at the end of his message ..)

It HAS been a long while since I've been on the H/Boards, but as I had some Pain meds. info to look up on Web one day, decided to check H/B and that started me off again!..
I have been busy trying to get threads going on sex probs. and pain, on all 3 forums ,( Pain Mang./ Back Probs. and Spinal Dis. ) so no one misses out.
Go over and look for all the Sex/Pain posts.. interesting!!

I hope it's sucessful, have had a number of answers on them All ,and some very relieved Members posting their personal worries which is wonderful ,
and now it's great to see YOU Bee!!!

I am not the best at the moment , lots happening , ultrasound scan next week for possible gallbladder prob. just to add to everything else !!..

BUT the nice thing Bee , since we posted , goodness knows how long that was,

is I am now a Grandma of a dear little girl..
she has just turned 9 months old and is such a happy wee ***, aLWAYS Smiling and laughing ,( til just this week when off colour , cut 2 teeth) no grizzling or crying , so contented, and VERY BUSY!!

So bee, that's the latest news from me!..

Now the sex probs situation...

For those who may not know what the "spooning position ' is maybe they may like to post and ask you? .. it may help them if they are finding 'positions uncomfortable ?..
I am presuming it is where the man lies behind the woman , with them both on their sides ?.. Maybe you or someone else may be able to confirm this ?

For myself, the 'woman on top does not work,' as my body/legs spasm SO badly , I fly off the bed; Husband has given up trying THAT one !!
It "cools the ardour"so to speak!

Any way Bee.. enough from me , ..I really hope your suggestions may help someone .. Thanks for contributing !
Love Belle NZ xxx
