I dont have alot of info except i was told i need 2 surgerys and would be out of work at least six months and eventully would be able to go back to work.I freaked . When the doc met with me he said he expect me to be parilly parlized and not walking from looking at my mri. He said that i have a disc sitting ontop of my spinal cord I now know that is c1 I have several heritaited and bulging disc with no explantion as to how they got that way.I am in alot of pain but have chose to go the non drug way my hand goes numb and tingles alot have also with in the last two weeks have had a problem with high blood pressure which i have never had the reading i have done on alot of the boards it seems when c1 and 2 are involed that they surgeys are not very sucessful this surgon doesnt even think i will get better his hope is that i at least just stay the same. I am having a heck of a time even getting a second opion because of no health insurance he said if i didnt have the operation i would eventully end up in a wheel chair I just don't know what to do.I know i need this operation i am just affraid of making it worse
