| Back and leg pain
I have Lumbar stenosis and most of my discs are degenerative from L1 through L4 and throughout my spine, also moderate to severe osteoporosis and arthritis. I'm not one for having lumbar pain but in the past have had sciatica which went on for 6 yrs. I recently have had a chest cold with a really bad cough(still have a bit)and in the last 3 days my back from the middle on down into the thighs ache and burn constantly, in particular the bony part of spine in the lumbar hurt to touch and ache and burn down the sides of my hips and thighs. During one of my coughing spells could I have done anything? I have very bad discs anyway and facet joint disease just wondering if a disc could have slipped more as I already have some that do. It's been going on for days, causing my neck to ache when I cough is the norm for me but not the lumbar.
