Hi, there, and welcome to the boards, though I am sorry you have to be here.
Are you under the care of a spine specialist? I cannot imagine why, with only 2 levels messed up, they would say they can't help you? What do they mean that you would be paralyzed? Have you seen more than one spine surgeon?
It sounds like you might be a candidate for ADR. Have you looked into that at all?
It's a little slow here on the weekends...it might be Monday before you get a lot of replies.

Since the shots didn't work, then it is structural and you need to see someone else. I would get on the phone with my insurance co and start looking for someone who can help you. Surgery is not always the answer. In fact, too much of it is being done. You might have to go for quality of life and do pain management.
About 2 years ago when i was refered by a doctor to another surgeon in columbus ga. thats what he said. he said the would have to open me up and move my heart over and go through the front of the chest. that scared me bad.but i went for another opinion at UAB they didnt want to go that route either. but they said the could make a small cut between the ribs. whats is adr? i have 2 doctor apppointments this week one with pain clinic and the other with family doctor. thanks carol
Hi, Can I ask just a couple of questions? How did your vertebrae collapse? What were you injected with? What levels were you injected? Did the collapse happen before or after the injections?
