narrowing between c3 c4

I have been dealing with some pain just behind my nuckels on my left hand. After a ton of xrays of my hand. was diagnosed with tendonitus, 2 days later was back in er with pain in neck and sholder. After more xrays was told to that I have some slight narrowing between c3 and c4. Was told by my er that it was nothing serious and should go see a specialist to determin if phsyical therapy would be needed. The pain has calmed since then from meds ( ibuprofin and Frexirel) but I am still very worried by what I read on these boards. If anyone outthere has gone through this or going through this please give a idea of what is in store for me. I am a 27 yr old male. I am waiting to get to see the specialist but i am going crazy until then.

Any info would be great.
