Anyone ever heard of this one? I was researching the SI and came across a site that claims that this syndrome mimics SI dysfunction. Supposedly, if you don't get relief from any of the methods that they are currently engaging to cure SI dysfunction, they may be misdiagnosing you and you may have this syndrome.

It all made sense to me. Kinda technical but the stuff that I found goes into great detail and included pictures. It does suggest using a SI or facet injection to diagnose it. But, it also gives the option of using something other than cortisone. They are simply using the shot as a diagnosis tool.
