Well the day has finally come. I will be going in for my Lami./fusion tomorrow afternoon. I think I am as prepared as can be...thanks for all the suggestions from this board. I will post in the successful surgery thread when I get back and am able to sit long enough to type. I will be checking in one last time tomorrow a.m. Any last minute reminders would be greatly appreciated.
Lorie--The only thing I want to say is force be with you for the most successful surgery and recovery. God speed, kiddo! We look forward to your reporting back when it is comfortable for you to do so. In the meantime, we'll be thinking of you here.
Lorie, plenty of ((HUGS)), positive thoughts and prayers your way hun!! I know you've already left, but I'm sure you'll see this once you're back and up to sitting at the comp!! I just wanted to be sure and let you know that we're all praying for you, and behind you all the way!!
Here's to another success story for HB!!! Take your time hun, and let your body heal before coming back to report!! Take care of YOU!!
Hello all, this will be quick. It's been 11 days post op and am doing ok. Still lots of pain if I do anything much. Doc. says to still rest most of the day. I was able to take a shower a few days ago and that is now the highlight of my day. Got to go...can't sit. Thanks for the well wishes and I will be back later.
Hi Lorie,
May you have a continued great recovery. Please follow your doc's post op instructions. They want a good outcome for you. Thanks for sharing your spine story with us. Prayers and good vibes sent your way. Mary
Lorie,
Congratulations and welcome back. The first couple of weeks are the hardest, you will start feeling much better very soon. Don't make the mistake I made by overdoing it when you start to feel better
So glad the worst is behind you. Can't wait to hear how great you're progressing!
Take Care,
Julie
