Sorry, Dave- I meant to write that I believe you only have 2 surgical options at this point: fusion or ADR. Are there other things that could help, I sure hope so as I am in the same situation as you. In a nutshell, here is what has helped me: icing back every couple of hours , advil (3 x 4 day), laying face down to relieve the burning pain, finding a progressive physical therapist who does good manual work, getting an electrical stimulator at home to block the pain and using it 3/day religiously, always wearing good supportive shoes and supportive shower sandals while standing in shower, avoiding bending and lifting...Have you investigated facet and or sacroiliac pain? I just had two SI joint injections that have helped the buttock pain....? My doc just prescribed neuronin and claims it will help with the nerve pain. Maybe that would help w/ your leg pain?
