WC to pay for YMCA?

Has anyone found a way to get wc to pay for YMCA membership? Swimming is about the only thing that helps w/ my pay. But.......on wc disability, $48 a month is too much. I don't know what I'd do without access to the water. Any ideas? Thanks!

Re: WC to pay for YMCA?

I am not sure where you live, but in our area, there are places where you can get sports therapy and they have pools or contract with pools to cover you. This is a question that you will have to ask your worker. Also, contact the local YMCA and ask about a hardship membership or just an aquatics class.

YMCAs have scholarships. You should qualify.
