Short story:

Chronic pain over 2 years due to 2 falls off of ladders (20 ft fall was one of them!):
L4-L5 two buldging disks, 1 degenerated, osteoarthritis all over the area.

Had:

cortisone inj./trigger point inj.-no help just more pain
2 epidural injections-MAJOR pain, numb body parts, NO relief
many many med's-some help some do not

Dr. has scheduled me a "selective nerve block" - what is this? Can he accidentally select a wrong nerve and injure me further? Any help is appreciated!
