Re: Subcutaneous nerve entrapment
Lizf, I have had abdominal subcutaneous nerve entrapment for 7 years. It started with surgery on my colon. None of the doctors could figure it out, the pain is excruciating, in my lower right abdomen. Years ago I had a laminectomy on my 5th lumbar disc. I have always had back problems. The last ct showed a lot of facet involvement and pressure on the nerves. The 1st doctor I went to was trying to find the back involvement, but it got lost in the shuffle of doctors changing, etc. It was only recently that I knew for sure my back was involved, because my hip hurts horribly the same tim as my abdomen on the same side. If I can get my back calmed down, my abdomen calms down somewhat. Not totally. That's all I can tell you, but it is so good that I can now find on the internet that there is a connection.
