| just went to doctor, some interesting views
hey there
just thought i would post this so maybe someone can get some info from it as well as maybe comment.
Just went to the "walk in" doctor, I had a appointment at 3pm and of course they made me sit in the hard plastic chair till 3:30
Told the doctor my story (had herniation L4/5, had endoscopic discectomy, didnt work, shot of embrel (made me worse), felt really good for a year for APPARENT REASON,)
this is just a general doctor i dont have anyone here yet
and now, I think I re-herniated.
she did the foot tests, banging the knee's etc etc
all good
she said that since surgery didnt work before and I am a cash patient that its probably my best bet to wait.
as in, i got 2 surgerys on the same disc and I didnt feel better
and even though i felt better 2 years later, it wasnt the surgery, surgery doesnt take a year to "take effect"
she told me not to walk, she told me the exact hundreds lbs of pressure is places on the spine just standing and walking is very irritating, she said "swim"......she said "swim" about 5 times in our conversation
I am going to get an X-RAY (to see if i have had an latent artheritis just waiting to be aggravated...or WAS aggravated)
and MRI to see "the obvious"
in will bet you dollars to donuts, I have re-herniated
and i think time is what healed me before
thats all i can grab on to
she prescribed me 7.5 hydrocodone and 10 flexeril
and told me to wait a couple of months
she also asked if when i was better, if i exercised, i told her no
i felt so blessed that I didnt change a thing as not to jinx it
in hindsite I should have
so thats my update..
