oh cindy. Straightening's official name: loss of normal lordosis. usually I think relates to spondylosis. Which is what I have. My neck bends in the middle, straight, versus a curve. It sucks. Of course, you can add a bulge at C5-6 (and pinched nerve) with that issue. I am trying to find out if anyone has had this and if surgery may help. I have heard fusion may help, but I don't know since I may have a two level fusion L4-S1. I am looking for help and advice in this area too, but doesn't seem to be many on here with cervical issues.
