Anyone that knows my story knows that I have been through an injury, PT, stretches, Prolotherapy, Osteopath, manipulations, extensive walking, a primary, a spine specialist, and a Neurologist.
I kept pointed out to each of them that I had these weird knots on the dimple of my right butt cheek. They all ignored it and sent me for MRI's, X-Rays and I finally agreed to a ESI. All, to no avail. Well, my ligaments are now really tight so the Prolo worked.
Today, the PT looked at my MRI and said, *The MRI is like a curtain, and it takes slices. They tend to miss the inbetween slices.* He went on with PT, even though I told him it was not my back, but the knots by the side of my spine. He agreed with the Neuologist that I had synovial cysts and that I had two new ones and that they needed to come out. One is right on the sciatic nerve. It seems that when I sit back against something, or drive my car, it presses on them and they are pockets of fat which contain nerves.

He found it strange to find these in such a thin person.
So, I thought that we had this solved. I would go see a Neurosurgeron and have them out. I only had one more PT scheduled with this guy. But, he said that I needed a CT scan because they *might find something*. What the heck is going on? My back doesn't hurt, the cysts are causing pain.
Anyone else having this problem? Are they cut happy? Why do I need a CT scan?

Tired of paying money for stabs in the dark.
