| Re: epidural steroid injection in neck
I had two in my neck (one on each side of bulge) a month ago and it didn't help. I have had two in low back, and can say the same. But, you should go ahead a try it, I know people who have gotten instant relief from them. Plus, most drs want you to try them before they go to another test or step.
The first one I got two years ago in my low back was very painful. It was horrible. But, this time around, when I got two in my neck and one in low back they used an xray and gave me versed. I honestly don't remember any of it. So, it all depends on how the dr will administer the injection.
