Unhappy Painful!

I cant stand, I cant sit, I cant lay down (except for on my side), and more importantly I cant hold my 2 year old son. The pain goes from the middle of my back down to my butt bone and the pain is on the right side. Im really getting tired of this pain but my work and mothering schedule keeps me from making doctor appointments. What is this why do i hurt so bad and what should I do about it? PLEASE HELP ME!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Re: Painful!

drewsmom, i can understand. i to have 9 yr old son who i cant play with. i to cant stand it any longer. yesterday was a bad day for me and today is a emotional day for me. it tears my heart when i hear someone who feels like this. im crying now because i feel like there is no hope for us. drewsmom, you really need to see a doctor no matter you schedule. please find out whats wrong. you need to find the answers that your seeking and not going to a doc is not getting them. you need to see a neurologist or an orthopaedic. i know its hard to get up and face the day in the pain you are facing and sometimes i just dont get up at all. and it is eating me up. i feel disapointed i cant do anything like i did a year ago next month. i understand the cant sit, stand or lay down without severe pain and my heart truly goes out for you if you dont cant find a reason to go to a speacialist due it for your child. i know that they see our hurt and pain, and it can leave a lasting impression on them. my son see's it everyday and its like my heart is being pulled out, because i see his oain for me because he cant do anything for me and doesnt understand why mommy cant be who i use to be. lord im whinning aren't i? im sorry. like i said today is emotional for me and anything is making break into tesrs. please tell your boss and your family that they need to understand that if you dont see a doctor for your problem that it may cause you your vitality of life and then you will be stuck like me. please tell them and get some help. also you need to know that you will go thru alot of docs untill you find one who can understand your problem, so dont give up. dang my whole right leg is a sleep. well anyway, my prayers go out to you and your child and hubby. please dont overlook this and get some help. also you need to recomend mris to be done otherwise they might not do it. dont allow them to treat you like a peice of trash and and make you feel that is all in your head. im speaking from experiance. im sorry this is so dreary but i just want you to know your not alone and we are here to help. if any time you wont to talk just ask for me. also my email address is michelleseibers@yahoo.com. God bless you and keep you safe.

Re: Painful!

Please make time to see a doctor! Remember, you only have one spine! Take care of yourself so you can be there for your son. Good luck!

Re: Painful!

Yes, that is where I would start... with your primary care doctor. That is where I started two months ago... he ordered an MRI and then sent me to a neurosurgeon, who also sent me to an orthopedic surgeon. Hopefully, your primary care doc will help you make connections with the best people in their fields, rather than your just making a stab in the dark. Best wishes.

Re: Painful!

hey drew, a primary is where you should start first. i started with all the speacialist and never got anywhere until went to primary and they wanted mri's done. even though they might not be a speacialist they can help better.

Re: Painful!

it depends. you can call your insurance and ask. they should be able to. im mean whats the sence of having insurance if it cant cover that. also if you got a booklet when you got your insurance it should say what it all covers.
