Lower back and thighs on FIRE

I know this sounds goofy, but a couple days ago I did alot of stepping up and down off a high stool and today I woke up with the upper front thighs and lower back on fire, it burns so bad that I don't like my pants touching my skin. I do have herniated discs and facet joint disease, L2 to S1 are all bad, so what did I do to cause this these symptoms? Could I have pinched a nerve or aggravated one of the other nerves that are bad, (radiculopathy I've been diagnosed with aslo)any insight would be helpful.

Sounds like you overworked your muscles.
