This is stidw's wife...He wanted everyone to know that everything went well. He came through the surgery just great! The first thing he noticed when he woke up was that he had feeling in his right leg again. The surgeon was able to clean up the scar tissue from the previous surgery, which relieved the pressure on that nerve. They had him up and walking today and tomorrow they are planning on having him try stairs. He'll post as soon as he comes home, he just wanted everyone to know how he was doing.

That is wonderful to hear. My computer has been down for a couple of days and I'm trying to catch up with how everyone has been doing. I have been thinking about him and wondering how he did. Thanks so much for keeping us updated.

Glad he's doing great. Remember, those are the drugs talking HA. He'll crash hard in about a week or 2, but it sounds like he's going to be fine. Make sure he takes it easy even when he's feeling like he can conquer the world.
