| New area at ankle that is numb
Alright guys I really think I know the answer to this question, but thought I would ask first.
I had surgery done on 12/2/04 for a high grade spondylolisthesis at L5-S1 they took out the disks at L4-S2 and replaced them with cages and fused everything in between. So far I feel like I am doing great, I am aware that more then likley I will be permanently disabled per doc. My pain has greatly decreased lately that has allowed me to stop the deragesic (sp?) patch. I still have sharp pain in my lower back/left butt cheek, but the lorecet takes care of that most of the time.
Now for the question. Today while shaving I find a area around my left ankle that is numb, I feel nothing there. It goes from my ankle around my heal to the arch. It wasn't there last week when I shaved, not sure when it started.
Is it part of the healing process and just let it take its course or should I call the doc about it.
Thanks,
Diann
