update on electronic stimulator removal and other problems

Hello everyone, Well I went to the pain Dr. yesterday and he is going to recomend to my primarly Dr. that I see a nerulogist about continuing my pain meds. I have an appointment with the primary a week from Tues. Yesterday and today I'm have pretty bad pain; Id say about a 6-7 level. I have to keep reminding myself that this is just a bad patch and it will get better again. Last week I felt pretty good all week; the weather was dry which always helps. Now, however it's hurting like hell! Also I just got a bone density test yesterday and found out I'm in the begining stages of ostioprosis. As if this news was'nt bad enough they've found out I have a nodule on my right thyroid after doing an ultrasound. I have to take a thyroid uptake scan next Wed. They say I have hyperthroydism. I'm telling you if I did'nt have bad I'd have no luck at all! One good piece of news is I just sold a painting, I'm an artist, for $1,000.00 and am comishioned to do anothe one for the same price. That was great news but of course now I have to pull myself together and get the painting done! Sorry this letter is so negative. I really am trying to stay positive but it's been a real struggle lately. Toelle

Re: update on electronic stimulator removal and other problems

Sometimes it is terribly hard to make ourselves feel upbeat. I am in that position right now and am having a hard time making myself feel good about anything. But I know that this too shall pass.

Congratulations on selling your painting and being commissioned to do another. You must have more than a bit of talent and that is wonderful. Just try to hang in there and know that you aren't alone. These feelings are normal for us spinies...

Carol
