Hi. Welcome to the boards.....I am so sorry you have to be here. To answer your question, a lot more information is needed. Have you had an MRI? Do you have any nerves being pinched, loss of strength in the arms or hands, traveling pain?
There are many ways to approach a bulging disc, depending on the severity and the symptoms you are having. Physical therapy, steroid injections, pain management are all options before surgery is done. Be sure to always get a second opinion before having any surgery, too.
I know how hard it is to wait to get answers; I hope yours will be good ones.
