Quad feels wet and on fire...hmm

For about a month i have noticed my right quad feels wet and sometimes on fire. It doesnt hurt and only happens when iam standing for a long time. Any thoughts on what it could be? should i get an MRI?
THanks

Re: Quad feels wet and on fire...hmm

Hi There
After my fusion of the L4-L5 I started having that "wet " feeling in my hip then my thigh too, and then came the pain. The quad is part of the L3-L4 nerve root so if there is a back problem involved with a nerve root impingement that is the nerve pattern for the Quad, unfortunately for me it is way more complicated then that. But anyway have you had any history of a back problem? Also with the L3-L4 you also do not always have back pain . I believe the L2-L3 can also involve part of the top of the thigh. I hope this helps a little
