| Mid/Upper Back Pain.
Greetings!
I am somewhat new to the forums, I have been reading posts for sometime but until today, never registered.
I have had back pain as long as I can remember, but over the past five years it has been getting worse, to the point that I experience horriable pain on a daily basis, and cannot sleep at night. I have had several x-rays but nothing is coming back showing problems with my spine. My docter has given me anti-inflamatorys to take, which I have stopped taking because they do not work for me. My doctor blames the pain on weak back muscles. My mother and grandmother both have minor spinabifada, but I was told that would not apply to me. I have purchased a better bed to support my back, I sleep with a pillow between my legs etc.. I go to physio, I work out an hour a day and since I sit for most of the day at work, I have a special chair there as well.
I am really at my wits end, I think there has to be more going on with my back but I dont know what to do, if I should be seeing a specialist or if there is a certain medication that would help.
I doubt this applys but late last year, through a pap I was told that I have Severe Cervical Dysplasia, I then had a Colposcopy and biopsy, followed by laser surgery when finding Cin3. My doctor believes it to be successful but I am scheduled for another pap in april and another colposcopy and biopsy in June.
So...any advice would be greatly appreciated...I'm running out of things that I can do on my own to improve the situation.
Thank you!
