Re: Dansgirl, where are you???
How much time do you have???? (HAHA)
I'm coming up on my 5th year...sucks, don't it?
Here's the run-down:
*Riding Accident 5/2000
*Lumbar Pain Began within a week
*Sciatica Diagnosed 3/2001 (pressure on hip bone, and anesthetic injection into piriformis)
*Annular Tear L3-4 Diagnosed 8/2003 (discogram/discography - OUCH!!!!!)
*IDET for Annular Tear Performed 7/2004 (so far, so good - actually easy compared to discogram)
*SI Joint Pain Diagnosed 8/2004 (no actual procedure - just id'd not a radiation from disc pain)
So, although my IDET has been successful so far (only 6 months, and no longer have daily debilitating pain), I still have the Sciatica and SI Joint to deal with, mainly during the winter months. But, I'd rather feel in my 40's than my 80's!
That's the scoop, in a nutshell. You?
