surgery date
My surgery date is 2/24 and the procedure will be hemilaminectomy and foraminotomy with a facetectomy to remove compression of L5 nerve root.

This date is dependent upon workman's comp approving the procedure. Do any of you have experience with wc? The rep I've had up to this point will be passing my file on to another rep because with surgery I will have missed time from work. Up to this point I've not had any lost time.

I'm told 4 to 6 weeks recovery time and would welcome comments from anyone who's had a similar experience. Thanks for responding! Becky

My husband's injury and subsequent surgery was WC. He saw the worker, once. She never made any of the appointments and pretty much stayed in the background. However, I understand from talking to others, WC can be a bear to work with.

Make sure to *** your i's cross your t's and everything should go smoothly and you will be back to work before you know it.
